Welcome to the Spirit of ‘76, the semi-official website dedicated to Huntersville’s North Mecklenburg High School’s graduating class of 1976. A few of us have come together to plan a reunion for 2007 (why wait for our 35th – we’re not getting any younger!), remember the classmates we have lost, and appreciate the classmates we have left while we still can. We plan to help the members of our class reconnect through online discussions, photographs, and event planning. Check out all the pages and enjoy!

We're said to tell you that James passed away Wed, March 11th. According to classmates, James had been ill with cancer. Our prayers are with his family and friends. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.

I regret to announce that we've had to disable the discussion board. Two reasons for this.
1. No one was using the board.
2. Outside users were registering with porn and designer drug websites posted.
We won't add it back unless we get enough classmates interested in using it to justify the time it took to delete all the abusers.

Classmate Profiles now have a new feature. Each profile indicates when it was last updated!

Also, you can choose to sort by date last updated. When you click this option, the mostly recently updated files will jump to the top. So update your profile, and check out others who have updated theirs!

Upload your own pictures! When you edit your profile, you will find a new feature. You may upload up to 4 photos that will display on your profile and on the gallery
